We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for two exciting new posts in the Discipline of Podiatric Medicine at NUI Galway.


1.       Lecturer in Podiatric Medicine (1 FTE) Permanent

2.       Lecturer in Podiatric Medicine (1 FTE) Fixed Term Contract (2 years).


The post- holders will support the BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine programme; the only BSc programme in Podiatry within the Republic of Ireland. The B.Sc. (Hons) Podiatric Medicine programme is designed to educate and train those who wish to pursue a professional career in podiatry, as a health care professional, who specialises in the management of disease and disorder of the lower limb and foot. The programme design recognises best practice and aligns with national and international standards.


The post holder will have an influential role, supporting the BSc Podiatric Medicine programme, in ongoing curricular innovation, in the delivery of academic and clinical teaching and through student support. They will support the Head of Podiatric Medicine in establishing new postgraduate opportunities, including the MSc. Podiatric Medicine programme and research within the discipline.
